With a simulation methodology considering interaction of optics from cells, modules and systems in realistic conditions, the angular responses of modules and annual yield enhancements with these designs are estimated. It is shown that the annual yield cannot be easily estimated from STC measurements and an incident angle multiplier coefficient is proposed for correction. The authors acknowledge support from the Australian Government through the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) in their funding of ARENA grant 2017/RND002.application/pdfen-AU© 2019 IEEEphotovoltaic systemssolar panelslight trappingComparison of Ribbon Light Management Designs for Photovoltaic Modules202010.1109/PVSC40753.2019.89807922022-10-02
