We derive analytical equations that govern the emission properties of this nonlinear wave phenomenon. We also discuss how a substantial range of parameters such as the thickness of a nonlinear medium and the condition of a pump laser affect the strength of the emitted harmonic signals. Keywords: Analytical equations; Emission properties; Frequency-doubling; Harmonic signals; Nonlinear medium; Nonlinear waves; Optical medium; Pump laser; Quadratic nonlinearities; Raman-Nath diffraction; Spatial modulations; Theoretical investigations; Pumping (lasTheoretical investigations of nonlinear Raman-Nath diffraction in the frequency doubling process201210.1088/0953-4075/45/5/0554012016-02-24
