The change of the glass transition temperature Tg with the heating rate and composition was investigated and the activation energy of the glass transition was estimated. The fragility index was calculated and the correlation to the mean coordination number of Ge-As-Se glasses was discussed. Keywords: Fragility index; Mean coordination number; Activation energy; Differential scanning calorimetry; Germanium compounds; Glass transition; Heating; Reaction kinetics; Thermal effects; GlassThermal characterization of Ge-As-Se glasses by differential scanning calorimetry200710.1007/s10854-007-9229-12015-12-08
