Notably, in these two cases, emission predominantly occurs in longitudinal direction. In this work, we demonstrate how arrays of evanescently coupled optical waveguides may likewise serve as leaky-wave antennas, and show that they can be tailored to selectively emit radiation within the plane of the lattice.application/pdfen-AU© 2021 IEEEDirectional Radiated Emission from Converging Waveguide Arrays202110.1109/CLEO/Europe-EQEC52157.2021.95926482022-07-31
