An internationally-acclaimed scientist, explorer and conservationist, Professor Flannery was named Australian of the Year in 2007. Professor Flannery used this talk to reflect on what ancient Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures have to teach us all in the modern world. He discussed the rapid globalisation of the world and the common culture of social media among young people.
