dc.description.abstractNow in its twenty-third year, the groundbreaking independent art space Cemeti Art House, or Rumah Seni Cemeti, was established in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, in 1988 by the artist-couple Nindityo Adipurnomo and Mella Jaarsma (Dutch-born, long-time resident of Indonesia).
