Abstract

When he trips and lands on his belly full of sweets, the god of wealth, Ganesh, makes the moon laugh. A holy man vows to spend his life in a cave, but is gradually (and humorously) overtaken by his craving for worldly pleasures. A child with a crooked body teaches a powerful king a memorable lesson. Join Kirin Narayan as she shares the stories of "inner wealth" that she first heard as a child in India from her teacher Swamiji. Approx. 95 minutes of audio. Stories told in the oral tradition with original music by Ty Burhoe and Bruce Hamm. Producer, Kennth H. Green ; Director/editor, Carolyn E. Green ; executive producer, Tami Simon ; music by Ty Burhoe and Bruce Hamm.
