Abstract

The enhanced gas-solid reaction was discussed after extended milling. Hydrogen reduction of lunar ilmenite was shown to be rapid with little reduction at 1000°C beyond 10 minutes and synthetic ilmenite was slower with the reaction complete in 20 minutes.
