Abstract

This is a catalogue for an exhibition of new artworks made in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. In particular, the commissioned artists explored the role played by tracking stations in the Canberra region during the mission and specifically in transmitting the first television images of man walking on the moon. The book includes essays, artist statements and images of work exhibited in Canberra, Australia during June/July 2019.
