Abstract

We propose a low complexity noncoherent receiver operating at twice the symbol-rate for systems where each data symbol consists of multiple frames/chips. The receiver does not require explicit timing and channel estimation. It implements simple delayed-autocorrelation, followed by sampling at twice the symbol-rate. Simulation results show the receiver achieves performance close to a conventional one with perfect timing.
