Cultural advice

The Australian National University acknowledges, celebrates and pays our respects to the Ngunnawal and Ngambri people of the Canberra region and to all First Nations Australians on whose traditional lands we meet and work, and whose cultures are among the oldest continuing cultures in human history.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are advised that ANU Library collections may include images, names, voices, and other representations of deceased persons.

Material in the collection may contain terms, language or views that reflect the period in which the item was created and may be considered inappropriate today.

The second version of the optical interferometry data exchange format (OIFITS 2) was published in January 2017. OIFITS 2 was intended to address the needs of future interferometric instruments, allow description of correlated measurement errors, and standardize header keywords for bookkeeping and data discovery. We report on a panel discussion held during the conference "Optical and Infrared Interferometry and Imaging VI" with the aims of raising awareness of OIFITS 2, identifying any difficulties in migrating to the new version, and planning for future development of OI data standards.en_AU
