Abstract

On the eve of the third anniversary of the Australian-led Regional Assistance Mission to Solomon Islands (RAMSI) in July 2006 and in the wake of the social unrest which gripped Honiara in April 2006, it is timely to reflect on the role and efficacy of the intervention mission.
