Abstract
The ecology, behaviour and social organisation of two plain rock-wallaby
colonies (Petrogale inornata assimilis) were studied between 21 November
1981 and 4 September 1982, near Townsville, North Queensland. Data were
collected from direct observation of rock-wallabies in the field and by
live-trapping. Individual rock-wallabies were recognised by both natural
body marks and artificial marks applied during trapping periods.
