Interaction of Dark Solitons with Localized Impurities in Bose-Einstein Condensates
A study was conducted on the interaction of a dark soliton with a localized impurity in bose-einstein condensates. This situation was modeled by an external potential in the Gross-Pitaevskii (GP) equation, which, apart from the conventional confining potential of the trap incorporates an additional δ-like potential.
