Mixed-metal cluster chemistry. Part 14: reaction of [Cp2W2Ir2(CO)10] with trimethylphosphite; X-ray crystal structures of [Cp2W2Ir2(m-CO)3(CO)5{P(OMe)3}2] and two modifications of [CpWIr3(m-CO)3(CO)7{P(OMe)3}]

Description
Reactions of [Cp2W2Ir2(CO)10] with stoichiometric amounts of trimethylphosphite afford the substitution products [Cp2W2Ir2(μ-CO)3(CO) 7-n{P(OMe)3}n] [n=1 (2) or 2 (3)]. A structural study of 3 reveals that the three edges of a WIr2 face of the tetrahedra
