Block of rapid depolarization induced by in vitro energy depletion of rat dorsal vagal motoneurones
1. The ionic mechanisms contributing to the rapid depolarization (RD) induced by in vitro ischaemia have been studied in dorsal vagal motoneurones (DVMs) of brainstem slices.
