Alterations in ciliary neurotrophic factor signaling in rapsyn deficient mice

Rapsyn is a key molecule involved in the formation of postsynaptic specializations at the neuromuscular junction, in its absence there are both pre- and post-synaptic deficits including failure to cluster acetylcholine receptors.
