The morphology, anatomy, chemistry and ecology of some corticolous and lignicolous species of Buellia from the Iberian Peninsula that contain secondary lichen compounds are discussed, including B. chloroleuca, B. disciformis, B. erubescens, B. hyperbolica and B. leptoclinoides.
