Historical linguistic geography of south-east Western Australia

Nash, David

Description

The historical relationships between language varieties in the south-east of Western Australia are studied from the records of their vocabulary. Two-dimensional scaling is applied to graphically represent relationships among vocabulary lists, and shows how the vocabularies can be grouped in three languages.
