Convolution of mini distributions for fitting evoked synaptic amplitude histograms

According to a basic formulation of the quantal model, evoked synaptic currents are made up of a linear summation of uniquantal synaptic currents, which in turn are equivalent to the spontaneous miniature synaptic currents ('minis') that often persist when evoked neurotransmitter release is blocked.
