High-resolution coral records of rare earth elements in coastal seawater: Biogeochemical cycling and a new environmental proxy
In this study we have used laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS), to produce a high resolution coral record of rare earth elements (REE), Mn and Ba from coastal Porites corals from the Great Barrier Reef of Australia.
