Reconstructing Complex Materials via Effective Grain Shapes

Description

A reconstructed porous medium based on the equivalent shape which honors the additive measures was shown to exhibit similar physical properties to the original system. The use of the equivalent shape in effective medium formulations leads to excellent predictions. Thus, the method was illustrated for a sedimentary rock sample.
