Spatial Precoder Design Using Fixed Parameters of MIMO Channels

In this paper, we introduced the novel idea of linear spatial preceding based on fixed and known parameters of a MIMO channel where antenna spacing and antenna placement at the transmitter and receiver arrays are considered as fixed parameters. This precoder reduces the effects of antenna spacing and antenna placement and improves the performance of space-time coded MIMO systems.
