Principal Components Tracking Algorithms for Synchronization and Channel Identification in UWB systems
In this paper, we investigate the reduced rank shift invariant techniques in the application of synchronization and channel identification of UWB signals. The proposed reduced rank techniques can track the principal components automatically and reduce the computational complexity significantly by transforming the generalized eigen-problem in an original high dimensional space to a lower dimensional space depending on the number of desired principal signals.
