Efficient end-fire coupling of surface plasmons in metallic waveguide

We theoretically investigate the end-fire coupling mechanism of surface plasmons into an interface, bounded by an ideally grounded waveguide, with respect to incident beam parameters, media permittivities and waveguide width. Efficiencies of s 80% were observed.
