Electron-Configuration-Reset Time-Differential Recoil-In-Vacuum Technique for Excited-State g-Factor Measurements on Fast Exotic Beams

Description

A modified version of the time-differential recoil-in-vacuum (or plunger) technique is proposed as a method for measuring the g factors of excited states in rapidly moving exotic nuclei with Z ≲ 20.
