Stereochemical modification of geminal dialkyl substituents on pantothenamides alters antimicrobial activity

Pantothenamides are N-substituted pantothenate derivatives which are known to exert antimicrobial activity through interference with coenzyme A (CoA) biosynthesis or downstream CoA-utilizing proteins.
