Nonlinear dynamics of synchronously pumped photonic crystal fiber ring cavities

Description

The influence of timing jitter on supercontinua generated in a photonic crystal fiber ring cavity is experimentally demonstrated and numerically modeled. Periodic oscillations of the cavity pulses occur between a discrete set of spectral states.
