Exploring the possible interaction between anti-epilepsy drugs and multidrug efflux pumps; in vitro observations
Approximately one-third of patients with epilepsy display an inherent resistance to pharmacological therapy, manifest as continuing seizures despite maximal tolerated doses of anti-epileptic drugs.
