Momentum profiles of aluminum
Electron momentum spectroscopy is a tool ideally suited for the study of the energy-resolved momentum densities. Here we present new data from a high-energy EMS experiment using 50 keV incoming and 25 keV outgoing electrons. Momentum profiles have been measured from a thin aluminum film for the 2p core level and the valence band near Ef. The resolution of these momentum profiles, as well as the effects of multiple scattering are discussed. It is found that the high-energy EMS experiment...[Show more]
