Dynamical Behavior, Cost and Magic Number in Average Consensus
In this paper, we mainly study the influence of the number of links on the convergence rate and the total number of message exchanges, a surrogate for cost, in average consensus problems. For a wireless sensor network with fixed number of nodes, the number of links is effectively determined by the average vertex degree. Therefore the problem is converted to one of analyzing the influence of the average vertex degree on the convergence rate and the total number of message exchanges. To evaluate...[Show more]
