A tunable RF photonic notch filter with record 55 dB suppression using sub-1 dB on-chip brillouin gain

We report an ultrahigh resolution, tunable RF photonic notch filter with > 55 dB of suppression, achieved with less than 1 dB of SBS gain in a 6.5-cm chalcogenide photonic chip.
