Silurian spiriferide brachiopods from Yass and Molong, New South Wales, and Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

Description

Six spiriferide species are now known from the Yass Silurian, of which only two had been previously described from there and are here revised: Janius bowningensis and Spirinella caecistriata. Placed in synonymy with the latter is the Canberra Wenlock species Reticulariopsis silurica. Also occurring in the Canberra Wenlock and now known from Yass is Endospirifer anxius.
