Tephromela follmannii (lichenized Ascomycota), a new species from the Canary Islands

Tephromela follmannii, found on basaltic rocks on the Canary Islands, is described as new to science. A description of the species is provided, together with notes on its chemistry, distribution, ecology, and taxonomy. Possible related taxa are discussed
