A study was conducted to demonstrate the feasibility of organometallic complexes for nonlinear optics along with dispersion of the third-order nonlinear optical properties of trapheynlamine-cored alkynylruthenium dendrimers. Three systematically varied triphenyl-amine-cored alkynylruthenium dendrimers were used for the study, which allowed the assessment of the impact of π-system lengthening through the metal center and effect of generation increase.
