Population structure and diversity in sexual and asexual populations of the pathogenic fungus Melampsora lini

Many pathogens undergo both sexual and asexual reproduction to varying degrees, yet the ecological, genetic and evolutionary consequences of different reproductive strategies remain poorly understood.
