Policy Analysis of the Conversion of Cropland to Forest and Grassland Program in China
The implementation of the Conversion of Cropland to Forest and Grassland Program (also known as the Grain for Green Program or the Sloped Land Conversion Program) in North West China is assessed and a number of policy issues discussed based on the results of a cost-benefit analysis of the program.
