Pulse Train Generation in a Highly Nonlinear Chalcogenide (As2S3) Waveguide Bragg Grating

We report the first nonlinear experiment performed in a chalcogenide (As2S3) waveguide Bragg grating through which a 4 ps input pulse undergoes soliton fission to emerge as a train of six 450 fs pulses.
