A case for the implementation of an open access policy for, and advocacy of, the ANU’s institutional repository Demetrius
Description
This paper discusses the benefits of open access and how institutional repositories can assist open access. An analysis of the success and failures of advocacy programs undertaken at universities world-wide is given. Advocacy of the ANU repository Demetrius is placed within these programs and recommendations are made to increase awareness and use of the ANU repository.
