Pulsating, Creeping and Erupting Solitons in Dissipative Systems

Soto-Crespo, Jose M; Akhmediev, Nail; Ankiewicz, Adrian

Description

Three new types of cubic-quintic complex Ginzburg-Landau equation (CGLE) robust pulsating soliton solutions with complicated behavior are presented. These solutions are classified as plain pulsating, erupting, or creeping solitons. The main characteristics and the region in the parameter space where they exist are described.
