Atlantic-Pacific seesaw and its role in outgassing CO2 during Heinrich events
Paleoproxy records indicate that a marked weakening of the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC) during Heinrich events was often accompanied by a notable atmospheric CO2 increase.
