Bringing the Politics back in: Public Value in Westminster Parliamentary Government
We challenge the usefulness of the 'public value' approach in Westminster systems with their dominant hierarchies of control, strong roles for ministers, and tight authorizing regimes underpinned by disciplined two-party systems.
