Cerenkov second harmonic generation in nonlinear crystals

Description

We investigate the role of the fundamental beam width on Cerenkov second harmonic generation in periodically poled crystal. We show that broader beam yields stronger signal and enhanced wavelength sensitivity of the emission process.
