A case study survey was conducted of 37 cocoa growers from the Kokopo and North Coast areas of the Gazelle Peninsula of New Britain. They were separated into four groups for analysis. These groups were based on location and whether growers processed their cocoa or sold wet bean. Information is presented on the following: social characteristics of growers, farm characteristics, cocoa production and copra production.
