The School of Cybernetics is now the home of the 3A Institute with the mission to build a new branch of engineering to take AI-enabled cyber-physical systems to scale and to create a new generation of practitioners with the skills and knowledge we need to help shape this future safely, sustainably and responsibly. We establish programs that blend education, research, and engagement to create a new generation of practitioners. We focus on systems as a unit of analysis and driver of action for industries working with complexity. We bring together people from different places, backgrounds, and disciplines to generate new approaches to shape the future through and with technology.
