|Collections||Tooth & Company Limited|
A photograph of a section of the architects' plans for the rebuilding of the Beach Hotel. The Beach Hotel was purchased by Tooth & Company in February 1936. On completion of rebuilding in 1937 the hotel was a two storeyed brick structure with a fully tiled ground floor exterior and a corrugated fibro roof. The architectural style is known as P. & O. Ship Style because of its similarities to ocean liner forms.
