A systematic geochemical examination and zircon U-Pb dating of Neoproterozoic bimodal volcanic rocks from the Chungju area in the northeast segment of the Okcheon Metamorphic Belt (OMB), South Korea, allow a comparison with similar rocks from the Nanhua Rift, South China.
