Description

Defect-mediated carrier recombination at the interfaces between perovskite and neighboring charge transport layers limits the efficiency of most state-of-the-art perovskite solar cells. Passivation of interfacial defects is thus essential for attaining cell efficiencies close to the theoretical limit.
