Phase Transformation Dependence on Initial Plastic Deformation Mode in Si via Nanoindentation

Silicon in its diamond-cubic phase is known to phase transform to a technologically interesting mixture of the body-centred cubic and rhombohedral phases under nanoindentation pressure.
