Circumpolar response of Southern Ocean eddy activity to a change in the Southern Annular Mode
Analysis of satellite altimeter data reveals anomalously high Eddy Kinetic Energy (EKE) in the Antarctic Circumpolar Current (ACC) during the period 2000-2002.
